    Magic

    Name of Magic: Red Sands: Flame Guardian
    Type/Sub-type: Caster
    Current Rank: D
    Description: Red Sands: Flame Guardian is a magic that allows the user to control both sand and flames for an extremely painful combination. Many attacks of this magic use superheated sand, sand that has been heated to the point where it nearly melts and turns into glass. This magic is mainly an offensive one, and does not have many healing spells nor defensive spells. However, it is not often needed due to the sheer power of many of the spells of this magic. The power of some of the spells alone is enough to decide a fight.
    Traits:

    Guardian
    This gives the user a passive resistance to all flame magic equal to their rank or lower, granting a 15% general resistance overall, that does not increase with rank.

    Burning Sun
    This gives the user a passive ability that allows them to give off intense heat from their skin, making it less likely that people will want to touch them. This increases the tempurature they feel to other people to about 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Guiding Light
    This creates an orb of flames in the user's hands, with absolutely no heat, that is used as a means of seeing in dark places. It cannot do damage, nor can it be used for anything other than a source of light.

    Desert Sands
    This gives the user a passive ability that allows them to move quickly and easily in sand without sinking in. This is caused by their control over the sand, and cannot be extended to allies, only to the user.

    Spells

    Desert Glass :
    Name of Spell: Desert Glass
    Type: Offensive, Fire, Sand, Glass
    Rank: D
    Description:
    This attack combines the heat of flames with the melting of sand to produce a form of glass. it can be shaped in any way the user desires, but it will always be some form of weapon, such as a sword or a spear. It is limited by how fragile it is, however. The weapon will shatter fairly easily, though it will indeed be deadly sharp. This weapon is also limited in the fact that as it is being created, it takes a full post to fully form.
    Effects:
    This spell has a duration of 2 posts after the post in which the weapon is formed, and has a cooldown of 4 posts. There is no real range for this spell, as it depends on the weapon that is formed. The weapons of this spell are all melee weapons, meaning no bows or anything like that.

    Sand Grave:
    Name: Sand Grave
    Type: Offensive, Sand
    Rank: D
    Description:
    A thin coating of sand encases the target the user desires, trapping them effectively and cutting off their ability to breathe. Jin only uses this spell when he is extremely angry, as it can hurt people quite badly. The sand is a thin coating, but it is effective of holding those of equal rank, one rank can break out with ease. The sand is about 2 inches thick and hardens once it has encased the target.
    Effects:This spell has a 2 post duration and a 5 post cooldown, the range is not a set thing, as it depends on who you target with this spell, though one thing for sure is that it cannot travel furthur than 10 meters from the user.

    Sand Arms:
    Name of Spell:Sand Arms
    Type: Offensive, Fire, Sand
    Rank:D
    Description: This spell gives the user sand arms, fairly similar to water arms, though thee arms are different, because the sand that makes them up is blazing hot. These arms can pick things up, or block them, and if severed will replace themselves with new ones until the duration has ended. These are limited in the sense is that there is only so far they can reach, and the arms are fairly easy to sever.
    Effects: The arms have a 3 post duration and a 5 post cooldown, though the duration and cooldown will each be extended by one post each time the arms are severed in order to replace the arms. These arms have a range of roughly 3 meters.

    Sand Armor:
    Name of Spell: Sand Armor

    Rank: D
    Description: This coats the user in a protective layer of hardened sand, with holes for their nose, mouth and eyes so that they can still breathe. this will protect the user from equal ranked attacks, reduce their damage by 50% from attacks of one rank higher, and not at all against attacks 2 ranks higher and beyond.
    Effects:This has a duration of 2 posts, and can  take up to 3 equal ranked attacks or 2 attacks of 1 rank higher before it is destroyed. This spell has a 4 post cooldown.

The sand is about 2 inches thick and hardens once it has encased the target.<--- no, this spell cannot be allowed to kill, it is a d rank spell, D rank spells can't be deadly. Also, anyone of higher rank could easily break free. So either get rid of this spell and replace it with something else or change it so its non-deadly. If you choose to keep it, I suggest mentioning that anyone of higher rank can break free with ease.
    Effects:This spell has a 2 post duration and a 5 post cooldown, the range is not a set thing, as it depends on who you target with this spell, though one thing for sure is that it cannot travel furthur than 10 meters from the user.
