    History:
    Devil slayer magic is a form of lost magic, that was said to only be taught to humans by actual demons. Each type of devil slayer magic, uses it's respective element in it's purest form but also can be mixed with light. It is a magic taught by demons to slay demons and any other evil or dark, unholy creatures. It is considered to be a "holy" magic of sorts because it's used to slay evil. Devil slayer magic, just like any other slayer magic, has it's own respective elements.

    Rin's Devil Slayer Magic:
    Tempest(or storm) devil slayer magic, is a magic that utilizes the three elements of storms; lightning, wind, and water. These three elements when used together, are extremely powerful if used properly. They have wide range of possible damage.

    Rin was taught this extremely powerful magic, by the most powerful of storm demons, Demyx. He took Rin in at a very young age after she'd lost everything, including the will to live. This is not an easy magic to learn.

    In order to obtain the ability to master this ancient, lost magic. The demon or devil, must take the wizard they are teaching into different types of storms such as, rain showers, lightning storms, and even into hurricanes. This allows them to be able build up a resistance to the magic's respective elements. It also serves the purpose to teach the wizard how to be able control the elements by controlling these natural storms and bend them to their will.

    Once the wizard has the ability to control natural storms, learning to use spells comes next. There are a wide range of spells that a tempest devil slayer can learn to use. The spells range from mostly offensive to some defensive and a few supportive spells. There is one large weakness for using this seemingly all powerful magic. Only one of the three elements can be consumed separately. The other two will give the wielder side affects that can hinder them in a battle.

    Extra Info: Storm slayers are unique from other slayers because they can control three elements rather than one. However, this comes at a price. Storm slayers can only consume one of their three respective elements by itself, consuming the other two separately will have negative side effects. Such as consuming air or wind magic by itself can cause Rin to have trouble breathing for a certain number of posts. Consuming water magic will dehydrate Rin severely to where she could easily pass out. Storm slayer magic has a wide range and area of effect due to its destructive nature. However, it is still versatile just like other slayer magics are.




    Traits:
    Static Electricity:
    -Rin passively shocks those around her by physical contact, this ability is controlled by the user's emotions of anger or irritation. The electrocution caused by the white lightning, is only equal to the strength of 2 ranks below the user's current rank. Repetitive shocking/electrocution to the same single target will decrease by 1 rank with each hit.

    Flash Step:
    -By charging the soles of her feet with lightning, Rin is able to instantly teleport up to 100 meters away. This trait is good for dodging attacks, or catching up to someone or for a quick get away from an enemy. this may only be used 10 times total in any thread.

    Air Time:
    -The user gains the ability to passively fly along with floating just above the ground. The user flies at gale force 12 wind speeds (117.4 km/h) but he can only reach that speed when flying granted there are no objects blocking his way and the user can only fly at gale force 11 speeds for an hour before having to take a 15 minute rest.
    *THE SPEED RECORDED IN THIS TRAIT ARE ONLY FOR NON PVP*

    Stormy Personality:
    -Rin's different moods have the ability to change the natural weather conditions.(Ex. When Rin is sad it might become gloomy and it could possibly begin to rain.) *This trait is completely passive*


    Spells

    Signature Spells:
    Name of Spell: Tempest Devil's Moon Bolt
    Type: melee/close-range/offensive
    Rank: S
    Description:
    This spell works as the user channels a large amount of holy lightning with traces if ethernano into the palm of the user's hand where it is condensed and compressed while still being allowed to violently move within the sphere but in no set direction. The high concentration of the white lightning electricity formed into a sphere causing it to look like the moon, hence the name. Once the sphere is completed, the user charges forward creating more lightning as they move due to air friction with the caster's body and thrusts the spell into the target allowing the lightning to grind grind the target for a brief moment burning the target before exploding producing shock wave that breaks the sound barrier making a crack of thunder sound as the sphere turns into an extremely high voltage blast of lightning acting like a laser dealing heavy amount of damage that is usually fatal incinerating most organic things it comes in contact with.

    Duration: 1 posts
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Range: Melee 0 ft, Beam 3000 yds, Knock-back 1500 yds.

    Name of Spell: Tempest Devil's Jupiter Gate
    Type: offensive
    Rank: S
    Description: The user puts their hands together looking as if they are praying before waving their arms, causing a vast number of magical seals appear in the air to their right, left, above and behind the user (though the max number of gates is 20) releasing a torrent of energy needles composed from concentrated lightning encased in ethernano. The user can continuously produce the needles, even while he/she is mobile and even move the magic seals with the snap of her fingers to trap targets.
    Extra Information:
    -The spell's total damage is equal to he users rank each shot is equal to 1/x of the number of shots fired
    -The spell's total damage can be reset every 100 shots fired for the cost of 10%MP, the spell’s duration can be rest for the cost of 5%MP.
    -Though the user can move the gate seals they only have a limited the range compared to the range of the projectiles (the gates can only be moved up to a 50 ft radius (100 ft diameter) around the user whom is the epicenter).
    -The user can layer all the gates to make a single powerful blast though it takes a post to charge and adds two more posts to the cooldown.
    Effects:
    Duration: 4 posts
    Cooldown: 6 posts
    Range: 3000 yds (Projectiles), 100 ft (gate movement).

    D Rank Spells:

    Name of Spell: Hasten the Storm

    Rank: D
    Description:
    The caster charges the air with her magic and hasten the atmosphere to acclimate itself again to reuse another spell.This can allow the re-use of one d rank tempest devil slayer spell in a thread by reducing its cooldown by 2 posts.
    Effects:
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 3 posts

    Name of Spell: Lightning Charge
    Type: Support
    Rank: D
    Description:
    The caster uses the lightning they consume, whether it be natural or produced by magic to restore 10% of their magic power. This spell allows for the caster to be able to fight with their magic for longer but on the down side can only be used 3 times per thread.

    Type: Offensive
    Rank: D
    Description: Rin jumps high in the sky, attacking her target with lightning three times in a triangular pattern, sending the target flying.
    Strengths:
    -Surrounds the target, making evading difficult.
    -Causes d rank damage.
    -Can temporarily paralyze targets of equal or lower rank for 2 posts.
    Weaknesses:
    -less effective against earth magic users
    -only paralyzes lower or equal ranked opponents
    -Higher ranked spells will cancel the spell out.

    Name of Spell: Storm Passage
    Type: Supplementary
    Rank: D
    Description:
    The caster puts their hand over where the guild seal is and whispers "Please give *insert names* a safe passage through this storm." Upon then a magic sigil appears and a small aura of electrical/wind/water energies flow just above the recipients skin. This gives the caster's allies protection from the havoc they are going to wreak. This spell can only work on those who bare the same guild mark as the caster, anyone who does not, can be harmed for the duration of this spell. This will only protect allies from damage of up to C rank spells, anything higher can still bring harm.

    Name of Spell: Tempest Fog
    Type: defensive
    Rank: D
    Description: The user blows a chilled air from their mouth that creates a thick, blinding fog that traps people inside and blinds them so they can't fight effectively. By adding in a lightning spell, the water moisture will cause the fog to become electrically charge, inducing shock damage. While the fog reduces the vision of those inside, it is still possible to find your way out by simply walking around.

    Name of Spell: Tempest Demon Typhlosion
    Type: Offensive
    Rank: C
    Description:
    By removing the hydrogen from air particles and separating the two, the user will slowly form a swirling land typhlosion similar to a whirlpool. Added to this is the user's capacity for lightning induction allowing for this spell to be a lightning form whirlpool along land. The lightning in this spell is able to paralyze those who are hit directly by it.
    Effects:
    Duration: 3 posts(1 post for spell itself, and two posts for paralysis)
    Cooldown: 5 posts
    Range: 1000 yds

    Name of Spell: Tempest Demon Kick
    Type: Offensive/ Ranged
    Rank: C
    Description: Rin sends on a blade of wind, water and lightning combined from their feet like they're kicking a soccer ball to attack their opponents. This spell is able to cause large lacerations as well as broken bones, it only does c rank damage. The blades it creates are 7 feet long and 5 feet wide. The lightning is capable of causing paralysis to those who take direct hits.

    Duration:  4 posts(1 post per foot kicking, and two posts for paralysis)

    Type: Offensive/Defensive
    Rank: C
    Description: Rin grabs an opponent trapping them in a ball of water they then can electrocute the trapped victim paralyzing them for the duration of two posts. The opponent's movements are naturally slower in the water. This spell deals c-rank damage.
    Effects:
    Duration:  4 posts(2 posts paralysis, spell itself lasts for 2 posts)

    Name of Spell: Healing Rain
    Type: Supportive
    Rank: C
    Description: A 1000 yd radius rain cloud enters a the battle field and starts showering on the people present. This rain heals wounds and purifies the body of all toxins within the body. It can heal up to C rank in damage. The downside is, it affects all those the rain droplets hit, so even enemies can be healed if within range. This spell reaches from the clouds in the air to 65 ft diameter in the ground.

    Name of Spell: Devil Slayer Secret Arts, Holy Tempest: Tempest Demon's Coarse Skill
    Type: Offensive
    Rank: B
    Description:The caster creates a multitude of very thin beams of water, wind, and lightning which pierce their target, heavily damaging them causing b rank damage. There are a total of 100 needles that pierce the body of whoever is hit by this spell, all of which strike in quick succession of the last.
    Effects:
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 6 posts

    Description: The caster puts their hands to the sky, conjuring up a storm of rain, lightning and high speed winds. The rain is like razor sharp needles that pierce through skin, the winds are like blades that cut, and the lightning will paralyze those it hits temporarily. This spell causes B rank paralysis/shocking and cutting damage damage.
    Effects:
    Duration: 6 posts(3 posts for the actual spell and 3 posts for paralysis)

    Name of Spell: Tempest Devil's Boiling Rain
    Type: Offensive
    Rank: B
    Description: Rin raises an arm in the air and calls down the rain filled that is so hot that it acts like effects of boiling water if hit with it. This will scald flesh and cause severe burns on the targets body. Due to the heat and nature of water, it sticks to a persons clothes that continues damaging afterwards. It even ignores magical barriers of C or lower rank by using its malleable shape to slip in through the cracks. Causes B rank damage. The boiling rain affects all those in its area of effect, meaning that even allies can be hurt by it.
    Effects:
    Duration: 4 posts
    Cooldown: 6 posts
    Range: 400 ft

    Name of Spell: Tempest Whip
    Type: Offensive
    Rank: B
    Description: The user creates a whip out of water and lightning to strike multiple or bind a single opponent. The whip is 100 feet in length and lashes out at a speed of 15 m/s. It can only bind a single opponent and can strike more than one opponent so long as they are within range.
    Effects:
    Duration: 3 posts(1 for the spell itself, 2 for paralysis)
    Cooldown: 5 posts
    Range: 100 ft

    A Rank Spells:

    Name of Spell: Devil Slayer Secret Arts, Holy Tempest: Storm Body
    Type: Offensive/Defensive
    Rank: A
    Description: Rin transforms her entire body into a storm(basically wind, water, and lightning). This spell allows her to avoid all attacks(pure physical, and magically boosted physical attacks) that are of equal or lower rank. Rin is also able to attack opponents in this form. She can electrocute her enemies, hit them with spikes made of rain, and cut them with wind. While in this form, all pure magic attacks will deal double damage. Causes A rank damage.

    Name of Spell: Tempest Demon Rage
    Type: Offensive
    Rank: A
    Description: Rin takes a deep breath and lets out a shout, unleashing the storms fury upon her enemies in the form of a 200 foot cone with a 12 foot diameter.. Their bodies have to withstand everything nature can bring to them and the effects will be apparent upon exiting. The effects are as if blasted by cold winds, water and electricity in chaotic blast. This spell inflicts A-rank damage. The spell has the power to break through B rank and lower magic barriers as well as break through solid stone and steel.
    Effects:
    Duration: 5 posts(1 post for spell, 4 posts for paralysis)
    Cooldown: 7 posts
    Range: 1000 yds

    S Rank Spells:

    Name of Spell: Devil Slayer Secret Arts, Holy Tempest: Storm Devil's Canon
    Type: Offensive
    Rank: S
    Description: The user extends both arms before themselves, their open palms facing, the fingers pointed towards the target. Sparks of white wind, water, and lightning are generated between their arms, growing larger and larger, and gradually extending to the surrounding area. With their arms completely clad in white wind, water, and lightning, the user fires a massive, concentrated beam(50 feet wide) of the aforementioned white wind, water, and lightning at their target. Such beam is shown to be able to completely vaporize what it strikes. Causes S rank damage.
    Strengths:
    -Cannot be eaten by another slayer
    -Will destroy the surrounding area that is hit
    -Can be deadly to C and below ranked opponents
    Weaknesses:
    -Earth magic of equal rank can cancel out the lightning element
    -Can be blocked by magic of equal rank
    -Can be dodged by opponents who are faster
    Effects:
    Duration: 1 post
    Cooldown: 5 posts
    Range: 1000 yds

    Name of Spell: Tempest Devil's Shattering Drill
    Type: Offensive/ Ranged
    Rank: S
    Description: The user moves into a wide stance, spreading their arms wide and causing a fast storm wind barrier to form, which surrounds them and their opponent and prevents either from escaping. The user then moves their arms in a counter-clockwise direction, causing the storm wind wall to contract inwards around their opposition, sending them flying upwards into the air and crashing back down to the ground. The range for this spell when it first starts off as a barrier of storm wind, and catches around the opponent if they are at least 15 or 20 ft away from Rin, the storm wind barrier also standing to the height of 200 ft. The spell itself consist of two different elemental combinations(wind and water or wind and lightning). These combos come up in the spell randomly.
    Effects:
    Duration: 1 post
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Range: barrier width is 140 feet wide, barrier height is 300 ft tall.

    Name of Spell: Demon Slayer Secret Arts, Holy Tempest: Raging Thunder
    Type: Offensive/ Ranged(lightning and wind)
    Rank: S
    Description: The user rushes at the target and releases a large burst of lightning and wind from their fist, heavily damaging and electrocuting the target, whilst also pushing them away with immense force.
    Effects:
    Duration: 2 posts
    Cooldown: 4 posts
    Range: close range, 300 ft

    Hi, Matt here coming at you with my patented Mod check. I'll be looking over your magic extensively so bear with me as we take an iron to these clothes Very Happy

    Now a few of these are good the way they are, some just need the usual grammar fixes and what not, but some need a little clarification and tweaking.

    First we will start with:

    Name of Spell: Tempest Demon's Boiling Rain
    Type: Offensive
    Rank: B
    Description: Rin raises an arm in the air and calls down the rain filled that is so hot that it acts like effects of boiling water if hit with it. This will scald flesh and cause severe burns on the targets body. Due to the heat and nature of water, it sticks to a persons clothes that continues damaging afterwards. It even ignores magical barriers of equal or lower rank by using its malleable shape to slip in through the cracks. Causes B rank damage.
    Strengths:
    -Water will slip through barriers and armor due to the nature of the spell unless specifically targeted against water magic
    -Applies soaked status on the enemy even if it is hot.
    -Deals continuous C-rank damage per post as rain falls on you.
    Weaknesses:
    -Water will slip through barriers and armor due to the nature of the spell unless specifically targeted against water magic

    With this i'd like if you made it magic barriers C and below seeing as B rank magic barriers should be able to withstand this unless being hit with a prior B rank or the barrier being one sided. Also is this opponent oriented? Or does it ignore the ally line and affect them also?

    Name of Spell: Hasten the Storm
    Type: Support
    Rank: D
    Description:
    The caster charges the air with her magic and hasten the atmosphere to acclimate itself again to reuse another spell. This causes a weather effect to speed up and align themselves. This accelerates the spell by 2 posts and makes it available to be cast again.
    Strengths:
    -Accelerates a situation spell that the user may need in a hurry.
    -Can be used to shorten the long absurdly long spell cool downs
    -Allows for combat flexibility.
    Weaknesses:
    -Actually inefficient by 1 post as in your trading 2 cooldown duration for a 3 spell cooldown on this spell.
    -A spell with extremely long Cooldown cannot gain benefit from this spell twice, because it can make the spell unstable.
    -Even if possible spell cannot be used to put a spell to 0 Cooldown. It always rests at 1.
    -Cannot be used on items Cooldown, only Tempest Demon Slayer magic
    Effects:
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Range: Self

    Useful but i'd like to see a limit on what spells this can hasten. With a D rank like this, i'd like it if it only did up to C but you are free to disagree if you'd like.
